Our first visit by a grandparent. Unfortunately, Grandma Sandy spent most of her trip caring for her sick friend in the hotel, far away from our little baby with no immune system. Call us overprotective parents, but the baby's only two and a half weeks old. We are lawyers, so we reserve the right to cross-examine you about your bill of health before we allow you in our house.
Grandma Marcia knows what we are talking about. She is just getting off the too-sick-for-a-two-week-old-baby list. Our next pediatrician visit will focus on the ever more pressing question, "Is there a travel-ready, baby-size hyperbaric chamber on the market?"
