Disaster strikes! Grandparents Marcia and Jerry drove six hours towards Atlanta to finally see their first grandchild. They then turned around and went back to Dayton before ever reaching Atlanta. Was it to save the mini-horses? No, the mini-horses were fine. The reason? To make sure that a basement wasn't flooding and to save two freezers full of food. They have now promised to come back once they get a generator to run their freezers or electricity is restored to the Gilleland household.
Above is an aerial photo of Marcia and Jerry's house in the storm. If you look closely, you can see Grandma Marcia clutching some frozen peas.
