Bradley Finds the Holy Grail

Bradley came to UGA to watch the last game of Mark's water polo tournament. What was more interesting to him, however, was a cup with a cartoon character on it from the local burrito shop. A teammate (Greg) had the crazy idea to hold the cup in front of him and we all watched as the boy sat in silent rapture over a stinking cup. So, we kept the cup in case it might come in handy later.

On the way home, he started crying because he was hot and, of course, hungry. We tried everything to buy some time till we got home - a pacifier, taking him outside to cool off, shaking toys in front of him that we just spent 20 dollars on at Babies-R-Us (one of which Bradley picked out), singing to him, pinching his cheeks - and nothing. He just kept crying.

So, we brought out the little cartoon burrito cup (still with ice and sweet tea in it), turned on the car light, shook the cup -- and the little bugger fell asleep for twenty minutes.

Not sure how to treat this event other than as confirmation that babies are freakin weird.
