We took Bradley to the health club pool today for his very first swim (doctor said okay). When Missy picked out swimmy diapers, she did not notice that the Dora the Explorer on the front of the package meant that they were bright pink and had big flowers on them. Lucky we bought a pair of shorts so Dora only slightly peeked her head out of those. As for the swim, we thought we would see a lot of tears, but actually he was very chilled out in the pool -- some of the time, he actually enjoyed it and smiled some. Hallelujah. We got him all the way in to his neck, bobbed up and down and he kicked with his little legs while we swooshed him around.
We did, however, forget a camera. Here is about what it looked like today.
