Awww. Cute, clean baby.Daddy got home first tonight. Bradley started rice cereal and hadn't number 2'd in 2 days. We were starting to get worried. So, daddy went out and got some baby prunes to mix in with the rice cereal. Whoever said prunes are a laxative didn't know how right he or she was. While Bradley was in his blue bumbo chair eating rice cereal and prunes, he got a big smile on his face then zoned out. Yup, the smell confirmed what had happened. He is already jammed into that chair, so apparently his diaper didn't have a lot of room for anything else. Daddy pulled him up and while pulling the bumbo off his butt, the bumbo knocked over the rice cereal and prunes ... onto the Nintendo Wii Fit balance board, onto the rug and onto the TV stand (the line of prunes/rice cereal is to the left of Bradley). Took Bradley upstairs for a change. "It" had oozed all the way up his back, of course. Two days worth of green stuff. Couldn't put the shirt back over his head or else his head would be covered with the stuff. Needed to cut him out of his onesie. Looked for some scissors. Ah! Scissors in the Baby First Aid Kit! But, wait, to get to the scissors inside the First Aid Kit, you needed a scissors to cut off the zip ties on the box! Went downstairs to get a pair of scissors from the everything drawer. Brought the scissors upstairs and started cutting him out of the onesie when daddy noticed that he had pen all over his hands - globs of blue pen, and on his t-shirt (pictured at left). There had been a pen explosion in the everything drawer and it was all over daddy with some on Bradley. Gave the boy a bath. Gave the carpet a bath. Gave the everything drawer a bath. All is well. Not like mommy got off easy today. She went to work only to discover that our dog Backster had climbed onto the kitchen table and hiked his leg all over her winter coat. A very smelly and messy day overall.
