Bradley's Funny Moves

Bradley's really quickly starting to wake up and understand what we are saying. He dances when we tell him to; if you tell him to get one of his favorite books by name, he knows which one it is and will more often than not get that book out of a stack; if you show him flashcards of two different pictures and name one of them, he picks the right one most of the time (if he's really in the zone, all of the time); if you say upstairs or night-night, he knows it's time to go upstairs and grabs your hand; he points to his nose when you tell him to; and he waves bye-bye. The best part is if you ask him for a hug, he leans his head into you and loosely puts his arm around you (if he's in the mood).

In this video, Bradley demonstrates his stomp, stomp, stomp that he picked up at his friend Cameron's birthday party (he danced on the dance machine video game) and randomly puts his hand up and runs it through his hair when you say whoosh -- we think he's mimicking something we do when we read one of his books and say "whoosh" for a breeze.

So cute. It's fun when the kids start understanding you.
