Daycare Day 2 started with laughter and ignorning Daddy, then Daddy snuck out. He was fine for a while, even getting himself down the slide, but then the meltdowns started again. We made sure to tell the teachers that if he offers a book, read it or there will be a meltdown. Just in case there was not time to read it, we gave the teachers an alternative -- books that read themselves that they can give him. After he woke up from nap, he seemed to play well by himself, eat and drink well and then offered a book to teacher, who sat and read it to him. This seemed to make him happy, as above we see him on the daycare cam going down the slide by himself (that's a new one on us) and sitting down and eating a snack! Hooray!!
