Two Steps Forward, One Step Back

With the beginnings of daycare, it's been a harrowing week. Being able to watch Bradley at daycare on your phone and on the internet is a baaaaad idea. We can watch him cry, cry, cry at daycare and sit helpless miles away. His sleep schedule is totally fubar. He went to sleep at 6:30 PM last night and was up from 11:45 PM to 3 AM. He has fits of crying for no good reason. He got a fever last Thursday for a day.

However, he now does a routine to "The Wheels on the Bus" which includes rolling for the wheels turning and up and down motions for the people on the bus going up and down. You can get him to sit down (not be all in your face) when you read a book to him. He will play by himself more. He says more things, not necessarily real words, but the incomplete words are in the general neighborhood of what we're talking about. He loves to give Mommy hugs now (more hugs for Mommy than Daddy). He will sit at the little boy dinner table we got him and eat his meal. These are big switches and clearly, he's learning.
