"You're Funny"

B-rad says some funny stuff these days. Our nanny, Cherith (he calls her "Cee-Cee"), taught him a line from the movie "Airplane!" so now he goes around taking plastic bins and announcing, that he can make a "hat, broach, teradactyl" out of it, with accompanying comic hand motions.

We often get him to do things he doesn't really want to do by promising something he wants (like if you eat another nugget, we'll turn on Sesame Street). Not to be outdone, Bradley will tell us, "wanna go to the carwash again." The carwash is someplace he hates. When we took him there, he had to keep reassuring himself through tears and screaming: "Bradley's okay, Bradley's super-okay." He knows full well he has no intention of going to the carwash, but this request is always followed with "then go to Chik-Fil-A" or "then Monkey Joe's."

Bradley also wants "Mommy and Daddy together" and will do just about anything to make it that way. He will pull us in for group hugs and kisses and make Mommy and Daddy kiss each other while smiling a big smile.

"You're funny," he tells us, and we think he's pretty funny, too.
