Bradley went to the circus last night and had the Greatest Time on Earth. He loved the elephants and motorcycles spinning around the ball the best. He also liked the gold coins they showed on the TV's above the circus (hmph). We got seats in the "Circus Celebrity" seats, so we got to sit on the floor of Phillips Arena for part of the show. While we were on the floor watching the motorcycles, Bradley put his index finger up, which to him is thumbs up because he can't figure out how to put his thumb up. In one photo above, you can see Bradley inspecting his Celebrity Circus Pass.
Bradley made a huge leap in potty training at the circus, too. We brought along a portable potty seat and he went potty at Phillips Arena, the first time he ever went potty by himself outside the home. After some steps backwards where Bradley did not want to go on the potty, we have tried and very much succeeded with potty training boot camp. Boot camp means that Bradley walks around a bit without a diaper and if he starts peeing, we take him to the potty quickly. After going zero times in three days in the potty (saving it up for his diaper), he now goes on command on the potty. There have been a couple of days where he has not gone in his diaper at all. If you can stand the mess sometimes (we have a great steam cleaner), this is totally worth it.
